Marine Stewardship Council (MSC)

The Marine Stewardship council (MSC) is an international organisation and certification scheme that contribute to the health of the world’s oceans by recognising sustainable fishing practices.

The MSC Fisheries Standard is used to assess if a fishery is well-managed and sustainable. The MSC Chain of Custody Standard ensures that products from MSC certified sustainable fisheries are traceable and separated from non-certified products.
